We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Chesham.

At around 6.40pm on Monday (11/3), the offender entered Premier Express on Bellingdon Road. She then racially abused to staff and assaulted a woman.

The victim received a laceration to the back of her head. She attended hospital, but has since been discharged.

The offender is described as a black woman with thick brown framed glasses. She was wearing a long green trench coat, blue blouse and green tracksuit bottoms.

Investigating officer PC Jake Janes said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this distressing assault to please come forward.
