West Berkshire Neighbourhood Policing Teams have been holding ‘Violence Against Women and Girls’ (VAWG) events for VAWG month of action.

The teams have been engaging with communities and businesses to raise awareness.

They have been working closely with partnership agencies. On 10th November, Newbury Neighbourhood Team in partnership with licensing from West Berkshire Council and the Kennet Centre attended licensed premises in the Town Centre to educate staff on the ‘Ask For Angela’ Scheme. www.askforangela.co.uk
